Gmail Goes Offline With Google Gears

This is really cool, according to TechCrunch Google will launch an Gears enabled version of Gmail to work in offline mode. While offline users will still be able to compose, bookmark and search emails. The synch engine is apperantly the same as the on in Android.

This is really awesome, and so cool. This really changes the way I will look at browsers and what to expect from web applications.
